Still ist es / Quiet it is
Presentation of the works of Ursula Müller, Solothurn (photography).
Ursula Müller thereto writes: “I did not know Hertha Ochsner-Schriebl. Her, the mother of my former neighbor. I saw her four or five times, perhaps, in passing, the grey hair put up, on the way to her daughter. As a young woman immigrated from Austria to eastern Switzerland after the end of the war, the past 45 years at home in Speicher AR, shopkeeper of a household and hardware store, until shortly before her death at the age of 81. And yet I was still allowed to get to know her, in her very own way, through her house, the rooms she inhabited, the things she used, the clothes she wore, the traces she left through her actions.”
