Over the past 10 years, the Haus zur Glocke has become some kind of storage, a place in which images temporarily take up residence and where the traces and memories of exhibited artworks have inscribed themselves and continue to do so. This allows us as curators to draw freely from this wealth, when inviting four artists, each of whom has previously been a guest at Haus zur Glocke, to return for the anniversary exhibition. With this exhibition we ask about the further development of the artistic practice, the archive, the wealth of material and ideas, from which the artists create something new. The various perspectives range between continuity and experimentation, between a response to existing work and an awakening on new modes of inquiry.
