We humans consume far beyond necessity. We strive for even greater gestures, thoughts and often are possesing more than we need. The expression "beyond one’s means"  touches also on a different level a global reality: we are consuming more resources than our planet can provide. How is this tension between overconsumption and the awareness of the Finiteness of our resources reflected in art? How do artists evade with abundance? We ask, if the artistic dimension of sustainability can be more than just the use of recycled materials and system-critical themes? Can art, as an aesthetic catalyst, inspire us to rethink? What approaches and visions does art offer to see the conditions differently?
