Eisenplastiken – Tuschezeichnungen / Iron sculptures – ink drawings
03.12.–17.12.2016

In the exhibition “Eisenplastiken – Tuschezeichnungen” (iron sculptures – ink drawings), the Haus zur Glocke ties in with this year’s theme of transfer and exchange. This time, two artists present their works who have dedicated themselves to materials that seem very contradictory at first glance: she as sculptor of iron, he as draftsman with ink on paper.

The exhibition not only combines the work of both sides of the Untersee by presenting a Höri artist’s work at Steckborn, but it also sets an – albeit temporary – sign by opening ferry service between the two shores. Finally, though the cultural exchange with the Hesse Museum Gaienhofen across the lake, it sets the starting point for cooperation beyond the national border – with Europe.
